Elk Grove Village Crash With Tractor

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the Des Plaines man who was killed in a traffic crash involving his 2007 Toyota Tundra pickup and a 2000 Freightliner semi tractor-trailer Friday evening (Aug. 25) in Elk Grove Village.

The driver of the Tundra was identified as Ricardo Gonzales, 25, of the 7500 block of Elmhurst Road. Police said Gonzalez was declared dead at the scene at Devon Avenue and Nicholas Boulevard. The medical examiner’s office put t...
